Stanford Prison Experiment

I am 100% sure that I would have carried my role as the "good guard", my conscientious and my Christianity would not have allowed my to treat those prisoners less than human.
             4. What prevented the "good guards" from objective or countermanding the orders from tough or bad guards? .
The "good guards" did not intervene or object with "John Wayne" or any of the other sadistic guards because they would have been treated just like the prisoners. The "bad guards would have used the same tactics on the "good guards" as they did the prisoners in order to break them down psychology. If the "good guards" had interfered with the "bad guards" the structure of authority would have collapsed. Once the prisoners would have realized that, they would have become uncontrollable. However, someone should have made the initiative to cease the experiment.
             5. If you were a prisoner, would you have been able to endure the experience. Why, or why not? What would you have done differently than those subjects did? If you were imprisoned or institutionalized for five years or more, could you take it?.
If I were a prisoner, I would have been able to endure the first 2 -3 days of the experiment. The prisoners in the experiment described the experiment as "a real prison run by psychologist instead of the state (Zimbardo, 2003). The guards treated the prisoners extremely inhumane. They made the prisoners clean out toilet bowls and polish their shoes with their bare hands. They use aggressive tactics such as fear and homophobia to dominate the prisoners. The guards demoralized the prisoners. Although my self-esteem is high, if I were subjected to that type of behavior, I would have completely broke down mentally. If I were imprisoned or institutionalized for five years or more, I would probably become suicidal. Consistent verbal and emotional abuse can corrupt anyone's ability to act sane. .
             6. Why did the prisoners in the experiment try to work within the arbitrary prison system to affect a change in it, rather than trying to dismantle or change the system through outside help?.
