Single Sex schools?

            
             Nowadays there are several schools with a student body consisting of both genders; however many schools carry on the principle of a single gender system. The fact that there are more schools with mixed gender than single gender groups, relieve the idea that mixed gender overcome single gender schools with several advantages. .
             People said that single gender schools allow students to feel more comfortable and relaxed when they interact only with the same sex. This is unfortunately not true; interacting with different sex groups compose specific behaviors that allow the student to easily get around in the outer world of education. High school students in their future life will be ready to cooperate with different sexes more enthusiastically. Students of grade eight would certainly go into their teen-age years relating to their opposite sex by being exposed to different life styles. Separating sexes can create a higher curiosity within' students discovering their opposite sex causing mischievous behavior. .
             If a survey was to be passed out, surely there would be a greater ratio of students against single sex schools. Most students believe that segregation with single sex schools can cause an unbalanced relation between the two sexes by their differences. Consequences would affect socializing relations. Students want to be comfortable with the opposite sex so there should be no segregation. A disadvantage for single sex schools wound be the increase of chance for homosexuality because they are not exposed to their opposite gender. This can be harmful to the student body's health in society because of their inappropriate adolescence feelings.
             One specific approval that is made by many teachers against mixed gender schools would be that being in the same classroom everyday with different sex groups might not be able to let the students concentrate well enough on their studies. This idea is not generally right because even though students are easily noticed that some want to learn and some don't want to learn within' class of mixed or single sexes.
