Analysis on Sun Tzu

When the men feel like the cause they are fighting for is just and moral then they will fight harder. The same goes for your thoughts, first you need to believe that the cause you are arguing for is right, and then you will be able to convince others that your view or tactic is moral and justified. .
Adolf Hitler is the extreme example of how to gain power successfully. He was able to convince millions of supporter's hatred towards a group is ok and just. How did he do this? He used deceit and moral justification. He used propaganda to make the enemy (Jews) seem immoral and beast like. Therefore, people won't rebel against him because their cause is moral and no one will challenge a moral cause. The U.S also did the same thing by making all Germans seem like beasts so it would be just to fight a war against an uncivilized animal. He saw that his country-men were vulnerable and malleable in their thoughts and that they were looking for a scapegoat. This is another crucial part of gaining power. .
Being able to interoperate what people want to hear when the want to hear it is essential. For example you wouldn't go up to your mother or boss and ask for your allowance or a raise if you had just gotten into a fight. First things must cool off then get back onto the good side of whomever you need. There is always a time for something and never a time for anything. As a martial artist this applies directly and physically to me. When sparring an opponent you must be able to read his every move and predict what is going to happen so that you can react in the way you would like to. There is a time for offense and charging and a time for defensive fighting and repelling. Also, you must beware of traps set by the enemy, don't always chase unless you are sure the path is clear. I had to learn this the hard way once when I kicked at the wrong time forcing an awkward landing and the breaking of a foot. .
Once power is gained there are several ways one must keep control of the power.
