the lord of the rings

Tolkein's Lord of the Rings is a long book in three volumes. It is the story of a special journey made by a Hobbit called Frodo Baggins. It is a journey into an unknown land inhabited by many unusual and different characters, both good and bad. It is about a special journey to destroy a very powerful Ring. .
?One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,.
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them?.
This is how Tolkein captures the essence of the adventure. Whoever owns this Ring has the power to be invisible, and this may lead bad owners of the Ring to do great evil. It is not the Ring itself that is bad, but how it can tempt anyone into doing things that are harmful to others. For that reason the Hobbit is on a journey to destroy the Ring. The Ring had the power to make you invisible when you put it on. It depends how it was brought to you in kindness then it does not harm you. but if it was brought after violence then the Ring would harm you. You did not find the Ring, the Ring found you. Also, if you wear the Ring over many years you will become permanently invisible, never to be seen by anyone again ever and the dark forces of the ring will harm you. It is too dangerous. The ring must be brought back to where it was made and destroyed so that Good will win.
To give an idea about how exciting this book is, I will describe some of the incidents that took place and how Frodo managed to continue with his journey. It starts with Bilbo's 111 birthday party on the 22nd September and it is also Frodo's. so that we know that Hobbit time is quite different to human time. They live in a place called the Shire. Bilbo gives the Ring to Frodo. At the end of the birthday party Bilbo leaves and we find out later in the story where he goes to. Frodo then sets out on his journey to destroy the Ring and meets Gandalf, the wizard later on . He is helped at time of greatest need by Gandalf.
