The year is 2079, and the place is California. Everyone used to be free, but not anymore.
Back in 2066 everyone lived on earth. The people were content, but they took many things for granted. For example: being able to feel the warmth of the sun, being around animals, having plants and flowers, having real food to eat.
This all changed drastically when Scottie the eccentric, talking, platypus beamed himself down from the planet Zonomonia. He brought his pet volley ball named Wilson. Scottie was a very devious and manipulative individual. He was very smart, despite the fact that he talked to a volley ball as if it were an actual person. Scottie and Wilson were sick of living with Zonomonians". So they came to earth in hopes of being alone.
Once Scottie and Wilson came to earth from Zonomonia, they were disappointed to find billions of people already living there, so they hypnotized all the humans. They did this by flashing different shades of pink on all the stations of the television every 5 seconds. The sudden brightness drove everyone crazy. Within days people were out scrubbing their cars with steel wool. It turns out the pink made the people think that anything shiny was evil.
After Scottie and Wilson realized that their devious plan was working, they decided to show the pink more often and for longer periods of time.
The people went absolutely nuts. They could not even stand the sight of water anymore. So once Scottie and Wilson found out about the effects that their second attempts had, they realized that they could have the earth all to themselves.
So they devised another plan, and this time it was much more complex. They would set up a travel agency and tell everyone that they would be going to the Bahamas. Instead they would ship the people to the moon.
A few months later, Scottie and Wilson's plan went into full effect. They started advertised for their travel agency. Everyone wanted to go, because they promised everything would be dull and there would not be anything shiny.
And Then There Were None is a mystery in which the author lets you get to know each character in depth, it is full of characterization. ... Later the characters think about the crimes of which they were accused. ... He then imagines that Leslie, his wife, is there with him. ... Only then does she feel relieved. ... "He went and hanged himself and then there were none ." ...

Of all the books I "ve read this year I most enjoyed And Then Their was None by: Agatha Christie. ... The setting was very realsitc, it was almost as if you were there. ... You get so caught up in all the descriptions that it's almost like you were watching a movie. ... And how they each were persecuted for killing another person or persons. ... The setting is so real that it feels like you are there experiencing it with the characters. ...
