             This book covers in detail the differences between men and women. Every couple should read this book together and then again separately to truly understand what the authors point is.
             It discusses how a man and a woman have different values. The biggest mistake made by a man is offering a solution to every problem that a woman states and invalidating her feelings. A woman's biggest mistake is offering advice to a man without him asking for it or trying to give him direction. We make these mistakes unknowingly and it makes communicating hard.
             It covers the different ways that men and women deal with stress. Men pull away hiding in their "caves" and silently thinking of the issues bothering them. Women feel the absolute need to talk through everything that is bothering them at the time, which makes a man uncomfortable because he feels he must solve her every problem to feel useful.
             Ever wonder how to motivate the opposite sex? To motivate a man is as simple as making him feel needed and useful, a woman on the other hand needs to feel cherished before she can be motivated.
             There is a chapter that explains why communicating to each other is so difficult. The biggest thing there is listening to each other and knowing when to offer help and when to just listen. Language differences also make communicating difficult.
             Differences in intimacy make us all want to give up sometimes. Men love to get close the pull away that makes a woman very upset, she feels as though the man does not feel the same love she does. A woman learns how to deal with this and be very supportive to the man. A man learns that the woman" s attitude is like the ocean and always changing.
