Teacher vs Student

When it comes to the role and goals of teachers and students, there are many different accomplishments each needs to obtain to have a successful year.
I believe that a teacher's role in class is very important, but yet very hard. As a teacher, the time spent with each individual student should be equally divided. No one student should be getting all of the teacher's help and attention, especially if help is needed from other students. This is a very hard thing for the teacher to accomplish, and having a big class doesn't help the situation. They need to be a positive role model for the students and keep a certain level of professionalism. Along with being a positive role model, discipline comes in. A teacher has to know when to discipline a student, whether it be academically or because of ones behavior. They must set the tone early in the school year, especially with a new class. With that in mind a teacher should demand all students work assignments to be complete and ones best work. A teacher should also make the classroom a fun place to learn and study.
A student's role in the classroom is very similar to that of the teachers. They need to make it to all of their classes and make sure they are on time. By doing this it shows the teacher that they are responsible. Another role to be performed by the student is doing all assigned work. When the teacher gives an assignment it can not be blown off. Even if they don't understand the assignment and are unable to get a hold of the teacher, they need to make an honest effort to get the work completed. And lastly, the student needs to participate in class. Teachers like it when their students participate and it makes their job much easier. .
