The Health Care System

The clinics all have to keep to date with health care and safety codes. This also brigs the comfort that all medical practice is carried out at government standard throughout Canada. This also allows you to transfer your files without much hassle because all the hospitals follow the same protocol. Another important fact is, if you are a Canadian, traveling around Canada and you happen to fall ill you can check yourself into any hospital. If you also have happened have lost your health card you will be reimbursed your money after proof. .
             Healthcare everywhere else depends on what kind of plan you are under. Most people will have to purchase medical insurance that limits their options. Not everyone will be able to afford this. Many elderly people, low-income families and people down on their luck will not get the medical attention that they need. Only the rich will be able to afford the premium services. Many people will suffer because of this. Also if you do have a health care plan it may not be covered in all regions and all procedures. You might have to go through a lot of hassle to prove that you are covered under your health plan. The worst-case scenario might be the company that covers your health plan may go out of business, leaving you with nothing. This also brings a lot of opportunities for companies to scam people. This will be very bad for the society. .
             The best method would be to go with a two-tier system of healthcare: one standard of service for those who can afford private health services and another standard which is lower for those who cannot afford them. The two-tier system gives every Canadian the right to the basic medical services. However if an individual would like a more premium service he/she would have to pay for it out of their own pockets. This is quite a fair system. Therefore the two-tier system is the most accessibly health care system. Although public or free healthcare seems great on the surface, there are actually many factors contributing to the degrading of this healthcare system.
