Taking a serious look at the statistics of domestic violence, last year there were 241,000 domestic calls to law enforcement in the States of California. 70,000 of those calls occurred in Los Angeles County. Almost one-half of the domestic violence homicides in the state took place in Los Angeles County although we constitute only one third of the state population. .

Society puts the blame on the victim instead of the perpetrator who is experiencing psychological problems by assaulting the victim.
