             Over all Mrs Kay is a very good, kind teacher. On the other hand Mr Briggs is a not very nice teacher that does not respect the children until the end of the play. Mr Briggs is always shouting at the children here is one example of that.

             Nearer the end of the play Mr Briggs starts to relax and enjoy himself. We know this because he says.
             "School back to school? It's only early, isn't it? Anyway, you can't come all the way to the seaside and not pay a visit to the fair.".
             This shows how strict he was at the beginning of the play and how much more he had relaxed by the end of the play.
             Mr Briggs and Mrs Kay have totally different options of teaching. At Conwy Castle it shows this when they have they have an argument and Mr Briggs says.
             "It's a shambles, the whole thing is ill-organised affair.".
             He thinks it was wrong to bring these sorts of children into the countryside, when Mrs Kay likes to see them having a good time and enjoying themselves. This shows again that Mr Briggs is a lot stricter than Mrs Kay.
             Mr Briggs and Mrs Kay relate to the children in very different ways. We know this because Mrs Kay is so much more relaxed with the children and just wants them to have a good time, where as Mr Briggs is the total opposite. It shows us this by Mrs Kay using the word .
             "Love".
             a lot of the time when she speaks. When Mr Briggs keeps using the word.
             "Attitude".
             So this shows how Mr Briggs and Mrs Kay relate to the children in different ways.
             Carol is a typical member of the progress class. She is 13 years old and not very bright at all. Carol wears scruffy clothes because her family is poor. She is not intelligent because she did not know if Wales was abroad or not.

             Carols home environment is not very good because carol would rather live on a cliff than go home we know this because she says.
