In recent years an uncontrollable drug know as Crystal Methamphetamine has plagued the soul of America's heartland. Crystal Meth is an amphetamine based with over the counter drugs and a mixture of harmful chemicals and gases. The effects of this drug are overwhelming, not only to our economy, but also to the future of our children and society overall. "Meth" can cause people to do things they might ordinarily do, by causing alterations in brain chemistry that result in symptoms and delusions of paranoid schizophrenia. Meth is also six times more powerful than heroine. Only one in six people are successful in overcoming addiction from meth. The government has spent the past two years fighting a war on terror, when the united states government should be fighting a war right here at home that is sweeping across the nation. Further action needs to be taken to fight the war on meth, to protect the future of our country. Despite the current "War on Terror" the government should be fighting the "Terror" of meth.
