propaganda

Status Under Study: I am going to study how Nazi propaganda affected the people of Germany during War World I and War World II, and how the norms differed between the German people versus the rest of the world.
The Ideas of German Cultural Hegemony: When people think about a race performing genocide on another race the norm would be that it is wrong and they would see it as unmoral. We are general supposed to care about are fellow man and avoid causing each other pain and suffering. During the world wars Hitler managed to change these norms in the eyes of the German people and turn on individuals that most Germans normally wouldn't. What Hitler did to accomplish this was he created common enemies (Jews, Communists, Liberals, Pacifists, free masons, gypsies, Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals, etc.) and made the people feel like they where better then these people, but he also made them fear full of them almost like an infection or disease. He convinced the German people that these individuals that already lived among them as Germans where there to take over and corrupt there way of life. He made them believe that all Germanys problems came from the Jews and democracy, and the people would not stand for it doing anything to make it the way it once was. Most of the rest of the world seen this has highly brutal, since the supposed dominate ideology would be not to kill off an entire race of people just because there different or seem inferior. Even though it was the dominate ideology at that time it wasn't to fare in are in history or even at that time when we was doing the same thing in our country (Native Americans, African Americans), and this was the same with most countries that apposed the Germans. .
The Actions of The German people: With the German people being a very proud race and civilization being an older one there are many traditions they lived by, as most people in the world the Germans where scared of change and losing what they have.
