After reading the notes, Brutus made his decision to kill Caesar. Brutus says, "O Rome, I make thee promise, If the redress will follow thou receivist, Thy full petition at the hand of Brutus!" (II.i.56-58). Usually, trusting people can have a good and positive affect, but in this case, you should know who you can trust.

After Caesar died, Brutus trusted Antony not to blame the conspirators in his speech at Caesar's funeral. Antony broke that promise and turned the plebeians against Brutus and the conspirators. Brutus talks to Mark Antony and says, "You shall not in your funeral speech blame us, But speak all good you can devise of Caesar" (III.i.245-246). .
Brutus" most serious crime was that he was in charge of the assassination of Julius Caesar. Marcus Brutus, a servant and close friend to Caesar, had a strong relationship to Caesar but also a strong relationship to Rome and its people. Brutus says to Cassius, "What means this shouting? I do fear the people do choose Caesar for their king.yet I love him well" (I.ii.85-89). Brutus was extremely loyal to the people of Rome, going to any extreme for the good of them and his own ambition.
