When we found out that we got the press passes, which allowed us to go to all the press conferences, the reaction was hysterical. .

On June 26, 2002, the seven of us boarded a plane in Jackson, Mississippi, and arrived in Baltimore, Maryland. We rented a van, and drove to the beautiful site among Pennsylvania's Allegheny Mountain ranges. At the base of a three hundred foot mountain was a natural amphitheater, which was used for the main stage area, where most of the concert took place. A forest trail wound to a peak of this mountain which provided an overview of the valley below. The campground was spread over several hundred acres of land. Much of the land was forest with the remaining acreage making up gently rolling grasslands.
After sight-seeing, we realized, to our horror, that we had forgotten our press passes in the van in Jackson, so we didn't have them with us. While we were getting upset and angry, Mike had slipped away and came back with news.
"Do you want the good news or the bad news first?" he asked.
"Good news," we all replied in unison.
"The good news is that I explained our situation to the lady in the office, and she understood and gave me seven new press passes.".
"Then what's the bad news?" Chris asked.
"You just missed Toby Mac's press conference, but I caught the last part of it.".
"Well, we can live without that, I"m just glad we got our passes," I said, with everyone nodding their head in agreement with me.
The group Point of Grace had their press conference about 15 minutes later, so most of us went to that. After each conference, the artists would stand in front of a CreationFest sign for the press people to take pictures for their various organizations.
