Once I got my license and was given a car, a whole new channel was opened to me. It was another form of freedom something that I could take pride in. Now I could go where I desire, when I sought fit without waiting for someone to take me. I no longer had to be chauffeured by family and friends. I had my own way of getting around town and didn't need anybody's permission to do so.
When I first got my Honda Accord, the only thing that ran through my mind was all the possibilities and the potential this car had to be my second home, my safe haven. I knew it would last long and I knew it was stylish. Its black paint couldn't have looked nicer that day and the interior was so nice and even though it was a 2000 model, it still had the new car smell. I couldn't have been happier when I finally got to drive it. The ride was smooth and the seats were unbelievably comfortable.
The next thing I wish to do to my car is make it my fantasy car. I have often gone to different car shows and seen the outrageous things that have been done to cars. I've seen just about everything from simple TV screen in the dash and the whole exterior made to be a chalkboard. The import tuner sensation had taken over me and made me want to be part of their little culture. In the future, I want to compete at one of these events to show my pride and joy to the world. I want everyone to see my second home, my safe haven. I want people to see my car and be in awe and know that I take car of it and I put a lot of time and energy into making my car unique because it is unique to me.
To some, a car may just be a form of transportation that will get you from point A to point B. To me, it is more than that. It is something that can be a form of self expression, or something that can take you away from a situation you don't want to be around or a great place to make new memories with friends. Everyone will just see my car as the black Honda Accord parked outside in the parking lot.
