I am writing you on my regards of abortion. I feel it's wrong and it should be made illegal. There are many reasons I feel it's wrong to have an abortion.
First, it is killing a person of your own. A child that you have conceived should have just as much equal rights as anybody else. Second, If two people had sex and the woman got pregnant she should carry the baby to term and then give it up for adoption. Third, when a women has been raped and she gets pregnant it's a terrible thing, but no need in killing the child when somebody else can raise it. I think to make this happen the United States would need to get more adoption programs and daycare programs. Many people these days would like to adopt a kid or kids and I think a lot of people like to adopt kids when they cant have there own.
Now lets look at in your prospective and on how the government feels on abortion.
First, the state has said that if there were laws against abortion, more women would commit suicide because they could not deal with an unwanted pregnancy. This is why you have made abortion legal so the women would have the medical attention they need. Second, they have argued saying that a fetus is a person and it should have rights equal to women's. I strongly believe that this is true. Third, if they out-law abortion women with low income will be driven to self-induced abortions. Versus wealthy people who can afford an illegal abortion. .
Finally, is every child wanted? No, and women think that if they are forced to carry this baby till its born, they will not love it, take care of it, and even sometimes will abuse it. This is what can happen when an unwanted child is born. There is no reason a child should be subject to this kind of maltreatment just because the mother doesn't want the child. The mother should have the right to give up the child up for adoption. .
I feel there should be other alternatives than abortion.
