filters of perception

The emotion they can put into it will not be as high as it would be for something experienced in the moment , sadness perhaps but not in such an expressive manner.
It is different for a person that is a rationalist, where reason plays the most important role in understanding the world. The filters through which these individuals perceive the world are more logical and mathematical. All the laws and principles are believed and followed as proving the knowledge claimed to be true. The rationalists reject that of basing on experience but "filter- in, in a way of reason and logic as making them believe that what they see occur in the world has a logic to it. An example can be a murder case. To be able to solve it and have a view on how the actions happened, a lot of math will be needed for the distances, lengths, deepness of wounds and for the time and chronology of the actions. A rationalist involving logic in its perception, combining two ways of knowing, can understand these filters by math and science. It is with these that the logic used can be enhanced either to test all types of numerical values or natural and psychological data. .
When throwing a pencil in the air, one watches it fall. Some individuals might think that it is due to the law of gravity, the rationalists. One learns because one already has the idea of what will happen due to the reason one puts into it. Certain principles form the understandings of the world and one does not create them with experiences but they, the principles, already exist.
For the empiricists, the pencil will fall but it is not solely based on the law of gravity, its is based on the observation of watching the pencil fall many times and then being able to generalize that the pencil will fall and creating an explanation, the law of gravity. If in one of theses observations what was experienced changes then so will the explanation. .
These two different views, are a generalization of the filters people may have in perceiving the world.
