Body Language


            Body language is a metod of non-verbal communication. It may be used by many people around the world, and is becoming the most common communication used. Many people use body language as an everyday method of communication.
             Body language is very convient for most people especially when not being able to communicate verbally. A lot of people believe that body language is just a simple hand movement, and or sign language. Body language is more than that. Body language is pulled from pshycology where it is connected to the function of the human brain. There is a lot of information on body language that has been researched. Body language is a connection between two or more people, and it is also the best communication. With language there are four main areas. With these areas, there are both negative and positive signs. These areas are facial expressions, eye contacts, gestures, and postures and other wordless signals. The facial expressions that is the most important gesture. Again there are positive and negative signs with body languag. A positive sign with the mouth would be upward turns in corners. while negative signs include downward turns. These signs would normally be if a persons lips are pressed together. The body is using eye contact would be rolling eyes. Rolling eyes can be really helpful and easy especiallu in a child-adult case. The eyes tell a lot. If a person can't look straight in the eyes, then taht might be telling you that the person isn't telling the truth, either that or in other cases disrespect. for example if a person is talking to an audience and is not recieving eye contact that is possibly showing that the auduence isnit interested, simply because of anotther sight ot just plain bored; Also another form could be a speaker making no form. There are also closed off postures which would be shown by hunched forward shoulders, rigid body postures, taping fingers and fidgeting hands.
