Violence in Sports

IN Mag explains why and what we are going to do.
Sport mixed with violence is playing a big part in today's society. Every hit, tap or kick on the field or court is taken very seriously in the referees eyes. But in the audiences eyes is mostly given a scream of encouragement or a yell of abuse. .
This is because about 50% of Aussies don't care if there favorate player gets the wind kicked out of them selves, for being on the recieving end of a "psyched up looney".
When I"m at a footy game and Minichello gets his head smashed in for being a "smart ass", thats all footballs about. Entertainment is the key word here, because imagine what football would be like with no head high tackles and no occasional punch or kicks. But in some sports, like boxing and wrestling, violence is accepted by the referee and even more by the crowd.
On the 4th of July last month, a commitee against violence put a rule to all the Rugby Leuge, union and Aussie Rules clubs through out .
             Australia. .
Their Rule states that "any player that is involved in a form of violence in a game will be suspended from their team for one whole year, no mater how big or small the insident". Of cause the Clubs knocked that rule back,(cause we all know the clubs want a bit of Bif to keep up there financial status.) We here at IN MAG reckon that rule is a pretty harsh statement, so we decided to make a rule ourselves. Our rule is called, "Three strikes and youre out". Our rule states that if a player or players get into a physical agument that they have three chances. The first being a warning, the second being a 2nd last chance and the third signifying their 1 month suspension. All the Leuge clubs have taken on this rule already and will be putting it to action the start of next season. .
