             Methodology.
             The argument for this paper will be that my Dependent variable, which is homicide, has a definite impact on my independent variables. (See Chart Regression) This paper is a case study of homicide 1990 part I crime variable and socioeconomic variables in Washington D.C. The research will try to determine were and why homicide happens the most geographically. The 1990 data was tabulated in a census tract format, and these tracts were formed into crime and socioeconomic space. The date for the census tracts in Washington D.C. during 1990 was received from the metropolitan police department and the 1990 U.S Census. The data received is for the index crimes and the socioeconomic variables selected. They are as follows:.

             2. Total Crime 1990 2. Owner Occupied Households 1990.
             3. Total Homicides 3. Average Household Income for Tracts.

             5. Store Larceny 1990 5. Total Income for Tracts.
             6. Total Burglary 1990 6. Unemployed Black Female 16 years.
             7. Street Robberies 1990 7. Persons with Bachelor's Degree or Higher.

             Regression Model:.
             It is hypothesized that homicide has some relationship to the socioeconomic variable selected in the different geographic locations in the overall case study of homicide. A regression model was used to test the general hypothesis.
