Buddhism is the name attributed to an intricate system of beliefs developed around the teachings of a single man known as Siddharta Gautama Buddha. It was developed around 560 B.C. and is the main belief system of those in Southeast Asia. This religion is based on Buddha's personal experience of enlightenment, which resulted after he ventured outside the palace walls from which he lived and saw how life really was. It was after his enlightenment that he discovered the Four Noble Truths, which are the foundation for all forms of Buddhists philosophy.

             8. Right composure.
Buddhists believe that if you follow this you will be enlightened. If you break an area in the Eight Fold Path, then you cannot achieve nirvana. One of the only ways to achieve nirvana in one lifetime is to become a monk. Reaching nirvana is the one true goal of a Buddhist. .

Islam is a monotheistic religion, based on the belief of one God. This religion was thought to have originated around 570 A.D., whose believers primarily live in Indonesia. Within Islam, the believer (called a Muslim,) uses the Arabic word for God, Allah, to refer to the creator of the world and of all life within it. He is viewed as the sole God - creator, and restorer of the world. In the Islamic faith it is the will of Allah, to which man must submit.
