Main Line Murders

Bradfield also lied about seeing Smith at the shore on the weekend of the robberies. To me it seems that Bradfield was trying to keep his partner from getting locked up. If his partner got locked up he could not carry out with his plan and could quite possibly be ratted on.
             Bradfield and Smith had targeted Susan Reinert because she had an obsession with Bradfield and she was divorced, gullible and had low self esteem. Their only purpose it seemed was to get her to take out an extremely large life insurance policy of 750,000 dollars and have Bradfield named sole beneficiary, then split the money. I believe Bradfield decided to plant evidence against Smith so he would not have to share the money. .
             Some of the evidence people say was mishandled or misrepresented. An example was the granules found on the feet of Susan Reinert. A soil scientist said it was from the ocean shore and did not match the ground composition from the Philadelphia area. This evidence should not have even mattered unless it was a solid coating of sand on her feet.
             Bradfield claimed he needed a silencer to use to defend Susan Reinert. If Bradfield needed a gun to defend Reinert, why would he need a silencer to? That isn't logical at all; in fact it's ridiculous. So why did Bradfield insist on having Chris make one? The only explanation would be that the silencer was used to commit a murder. .
             The comb labeled with 79 USARCOM, which was Smith's unit, found with Susan was put there to frame Smith. There was no trace evidence found on the comb which makes it seem like it was put there on purpose. Same with the sexual toy, it was also put there on purpose. The comb the police knew earlier from when they searched his house and found a whole box of them. The toy connected the rumors of Smith having odd sexual magazines and devices in his basement.
             Bill Bradfield saw Dr. Smith as his ultimate challenge to control because of his head strong attitude and status as a leader.
