In life you have several choices, some can make or break you. There are numerous cause and effects of those choices. One decision in life is a college degree, some people think it is a must and some think it is not. My decision to further my education entails numerous causes and effects.
Causes that helped to show me that a college degree is a must are my parents. Lets start out with my father, who has no college degree and has reached the top of his career in my opinion. He used to drive an eighteen-wheeler for a living. Always on the road he was never home with us, his family. Now he is a district manager for a pretty large maintenance company making a mere thirty-five thousand dollars a year. Okay, my mom who has worked several different jobs in her life from being a restaurant manager to being a RN for a nursing home. She is now an assistant manager for a small burger place in Jasper making about ten dollars an hour. No offense to my mother, I love her to death but come on do you really want to middle aged and flipping burgers. They really did not make the most out of what they could have been. Cause I want what I believe is best for my future family and me; a degree is an absolute must.
You have to have a purpose in your life to want a college degree; a direction. I feel a college education is just one major step to self improve or empower myself. If its possible in life me to grab then I am going to grab it. As of right now my degree is about half palmed if you get can relate to what I am saying.
Just a few causes have been stated but thru these causes there are some enormous effects of that degree that I project in the future. With my degree I will be able to obtain a job that will enable me to fulfill my goals in life. Michelangelo said, "The danger for most of us is not that we set our goals to high and do not reach them rather that we set our goals to low and reach them.
