What Is The Right Thing To Do?

Now take into consideration the circumstances. A government steals military secrets to protect their countries interests. A man steals another man's weapon to prevent harm to another. A man robs the rich and gives to the poor. Many will argue that stealing is justified under these and other circumstances. Adultery is much the same in dishonesty. Government and people often justify killing a few to prevent the discomfort or death of many. On a smaller scale, killing to obtain personal satisfaction or justice is punishable by laws. .

This particular passage puts more emphasis on an active and angry god, and also one who rewards the devout. Again, one is supposed to do right by religion. This passage says that non-believers should not be able to shake the beliefs of Islam. However, I wonder if we should shun the actions of non-believers or the non-believers themselves.              Aristotle tells us this in Happiness and the Good Life. He says that virtue must be achieved in order to lead a happy and good life. However, what we are taught and what we experience is not "virtuous" by all standards. The "aims or ends" which he says we come to are mostly for our own happiness. For example, a family may want to see a rapist go to jail for hurting a relative. But who or what is a "good judge" of what is right? The " good of the soul" is supposed to be the purest and righteous good.
