Christianity, Judaism, Islam and many other religions have always claimed that the teachings of certain prophets or holy people are special revelations from God. (C. Stephan Evans, Philosophy of Religion, p.97.) How do we know that the Bible is the only inspired word of God? What evidence is there to support that? Is it possible that other works can be inspired as well? .

Many issues arose while doing research on the topic of whether or not the Bible is the only inspired word of God. Mainly being the question of how in depth should one look into other religious works or religions? Once you determine the Bible to be true and inspired by God, why even look into other options such as the Koran, the Book of Mormon, etc.? .
Many non-Christians claim to have legitimate religious experiences with a higher power, just as Christians do. So why overlook the fact that these people are really experiencing something and not look into their beliefs? We say that reading the Bible has the power to change lives and show people the way to salvation, yet people say the same thing about other works. To determine which religion is right is it okay to read the other books and "try out" their religion, asking God to reveal to you the true way? .
These are all questions that that went through my head while researching. My head started going in circles, I became so confused and even started for a brief moment doubting everything I had believed for so long. Then I took a moment to pray and realized that anything that is not from God, is from Satan. Satan had me right where he wanted me. He was trying to entice me into getting involved in one of his "world religions," a.k.a. Satanic cults. .
While it is imperative to know why you believe what you believe, it is also imperative to not fall victim to Satan's schemes. We must be very careful while looking into other religions/cults and guard our hearts and minds with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6).
