This is our freedom of choice and our government is not a government that is designed to restrict its people from making personal choices. .

It is not congress's job to tell parents how to raise their children, nor is it to intervene into what the parent believes to be appropriate for the child to view. Even if it were, our government doesn't have very much credibility to decide on what is "immoral" or "decent" with all of the sexual scandals that have taken place within even the highest most prestigious office. Furthermore, if our Congress is able to censor the internet whose to say that they can't also be able to dictate to parents as to what television shows or magazines their children shall be able to view?.
             Whether the information is immoral to a mass murderer on death row, or decent enough for the eyes and ears of a 5 year old, the Internet was created with the purpose of providing that information to whomever may want it anywhere in the world. The Internet should not be censored because this would be defeating its" purpose. The Internet is the "information superhighway" in which today's world we travel ever so frequently. Censorship would only put "roadblocks" on the many different branches and routes to the "greatest cultural, social, and scientific" "highway" of information ever created (www.
