Romeo and Juliet

When Romeo and Juliet first met and fell in love it was obviously portrayed as something destined to be and their fates.
When they first met they didn't take into consideration the house of Montague or the house of Capulet. They were too lost in one another to speculate on such details, and in my collage I put in the words "The house of beauty" to show that Romeo and Juliet's meeting was a house in itself. Their kiss symbolised the compassion and love the two families could have. Their meeting also implemented a bridge as although unknowingly they were the only joining forces these two segregated families had.
Also in my collage there are pictures showing fast traffic and speedways. These represent that Romeo and Juliet's feelings for one another developed very quickly. That it was love at first sight, that instant spark, but at the same time brought danger into their lives. The picture of the rose also shows this as although Romeo and Juliet's first encounter was as beauteous as that of a rose, like the flower if one looked further down the hurt symbolised in the thorns was awaiting these two lovers. .
The holes in the picture of the fence in my collage show that although there were gaps in the wall separating these two families allowing both Romeo and Juliet to reach one another, as seen in the scene when they met, there was still a strong barrier between them. The picture of the man starting to climb a mountain shows that Romeo and Juliet's meeting was also like one being at the bottom of a mountain. Not that it was all uphill and their situations would progressively improve but that it was the beginning of a journey. The mountain also represents the fact that it was the first time the hate between the Montague's and Capulet's became a major obstacle to Romeo and Juliet's happiness. .
The last element in my collage that I believe reflects both this scene and the play itself is the wording "two worlds collide".
