Frankenstein

Frankenstein is one of the best books that I have ever read. The creature created by Victor Frankenstein has captured my attention since it has been presented by the narrator:" as his yellow eyes opened to stare at its creator". I choose to analyze this character for my essay because it fascinates me, and reflects on my character at the same time. By letting you know about his feelings toward other human beings, the way he compares himself to the people that he sees and the factors that pushed him to be what he came at the end of the story, I hope you"ll get to understand the story better.
The monster is obviously of a horrible physical nature that inspires hatred and fear from people who appear to see him. When he saw William, his first thought was to compare his hideous face to the beauty of William's face. He thought that the stranger would feel sorry for him and would come in keep him company: he underestimated his ability of making people feel hatred for him. Also when he desperately asked Victor to create him a companion that would keep him from committing murders against his creator's family; you can understand that he believed that only a "monster" like him could agree to share her life with him.
The creature felt like he was a normal person when he found a soul mate at the cottage of an exiled French family. The old blind gentleman found sincerity and refinement and him even dough he couldn't see him the whole time: they became friends. However, when the other members of the family drove him away from the cottage with stones, the monster was full of sorrow and cursed at his creator. That makes you think that this "monster" originally has a good heart and is pushed by good intentions. However when William, Victor's brother, refused the monster his company; he strangled him in a vengeful fury in response to what Victor has done to him. Nonetheless when he laid his eyes on Justine, he automatically fell in love with her; but after a while the reality hit him and he realized that she could never love him and put next to her the clothing that would present her guilty of the murder of William.
