First the article, in so many words, says we must teach the biology as well as the culture of different backgrounds together, to get children to disclose their own racist views. It also says that differences are important, they make us who we are. It says race as we know it and as defined by the people don't really fit in the racial categories provided. It says that most people don't fit in those racial categories because physical characteristics are myriad. Also when we look at genes that classify people into a certain race they are not very closely related in their genetic makeup. The article says that anthropologists and other academic classes need to do a better job at transferring these ideas to people of the world because if we don't convince people that differences and variations in people are a part of life's make up we will never get rid of this broad idea of racism.
