Orbiting the Son is an in depth look at Greens experience with parenthood. The writer explains how Erez, his adopted son, had, at a tender age of fourteen months, created his own family. In my opinion, in all family types a child will always be surrounded by parents and family members that love and cherish it. .
After taking a look into my own family one can clearly see that after the birth of a child in a family the lifestyle in that household changes to make the child the center of all affairs. For example, I saw a drastic change in cousin brother's lifestyle and priorities after he became a father. To begin with, he stopped going for his weekly card game night. To him it just did not seem appealing enough. When one asked why he simply said, "I don't know how it would help the baby!" Moreover, one also noticed that the people he socialized with had changed. This is a very natural process. After all, only a person who could match the parents" enthusiasm about the child would enjoy their company.
