This organization is accused of violating the civil rights of the citizens of the United States since the 1920s with harassments, slandering and even lynch mobs that would conduct public hangings. .
Around the world and even within the United States, the religious extremists of many different organizations threaten the security of everyone through terrorism. The constitution of the United States is based on the rights of every organization being allowed to practice their religious beliefs without the fear of being persecuted by another religious sect. Acts of sacred terrorism are the responsibility of devout extremist that commit terror in the name of many different religions. .
Since the events of September 11, 2001, Americans" feeling of isolation from terrorist activities and overall sense of security has been dramatically lowered. In light of the terrorist attacks, citizens have taken a much closer look at the tremendous vulnerabilities America has. Dams, chemical plants, malls and stadiums are just a few of the numerous potential terrorist targets. Obviously these facilities need to be protected at a heightened state of alert, but doing so without limiting the freedoms we enjoy can be difficult. What can the United States do as a country to stop these threats? .
We must hold terrorists accountable and make them contemplate long and hard about attacking American civilians again. Many believe that if Osama bin Laden is killed the problem would be solved. However, this is not so because terrorism networks must be destroyed for the problem to be resolved. In order to diminish the risks associated with terrorism, the United States must retaliate against known terrorists, institute new precautions, and establish a global task force. If the United States, with the support of the rest of the world can accomplish this goal, the threat of terrorism will be lowered and citizens everywhere can feel secure once again.
