This idea also includes the duplication of the rituals or ceremonies based on that religion in an orderly fashion. These rituals or ceremonies help an individual with some of the moralistic issues or the ideas of morality that were discussed earlier. These rituals or ceremonies may also serve to preach the ways of a religion to a larger congregation of followers and allow them to take an active role. Another way for an individual to connect would be through the writing, scriptures, or artistic representation of that religion. This may also be some forms of symbolism to connect the follower to something of greater complexity within the religion. This ritualistic form of expression is truly just a way for an individual or group of individuals to connect with their beliefs in a meaningful, fulfilling, as well as spiritual way. .
Religion should also act as a way to connect a community or a group of people together, under one idea. This may serve for multiple reasons. First, it serves as a level of social interaction between people and peers of a community who think and believe in the same methodology and ideas. Secondly, this may offer companionship and fulfillment to an individual who wishes to be part of a group, community, or organization with other peers who believe is the same ideas as them. This group or community may also allow one to socially or interactively take part in any activity dealing with the rituals, ceremonies, or other form of expression associated with that particular religion. It would also serve to be a gathering of multiple followers of the same religion to come together, and to act as one for the overall good of the community and help those less fortunate of that particular community or religion. The group may pull together resources within the group to help those individuals in the group who are less fortunate than the other individuals.
