Boxing


             Boxing was originated in Ancient Greece and has been a popular sport ever since, especialy for men. Lately, however, it has been a major health fitness trend for women. .
             Boxing was included during the first Olympic Games. In Ancient Greece boxing was not a safe sport (Not that it is today or anything). They never used to use gloves with padding. They used a metal studded leather hand covering which was so dangerous that opponents might even kill one another during a fight. .
             In most cities around the nation there are private organizations which help youth with their boxing techniques. Professional boxing is an excellent career. The amount of money earned isn't calculated by the year, it's by the fight. .
             These days there are so many weight classes that anyone with the desire to box will have high and adequate competition. Most boxers are experienced and have had training through out most of their lives. It's better to start at an early age to adapt your body to the conditions of this violent sport. .
             It's hard to say exactly who the best fighter in the world is. Although one man is labeled the heavyweight champion of the world, it doesn't mean that he can't be beaten. Many people have hidden talents of all sorts. If boxing is one of them, then there is quite the career to be made. You don't nessicarily have to be the biggest person to be the best fighter. All you need is a weight class. If you weigh just one hundered pounds there is still competition for you. .
             Among getting hurt and improving your speed and physical condition, boxing can help improve many other things. Such as speaking in front of large amounts of people. Making yourself get heard in your surrounding enviroment. Boxing is also a great hobby for meeting people. There is always a silent respect between boxers. All you have to say, if you lose a match, is that you gave it your best shot. .
