Rebuilding Iraq

The Bush administration and the coalition troops have done a tremendous job overthrowing Saddam, and moving the country towards establishing a free democracy in Iraq.
-The military conflict was executed to near perfection, better then anybody could ever imagined, but since the war was declared officially, there have been problems inside Iraq that need to be corrected. I am confident that all the appropriate changes into the Bush administration-rebuilding plan will be implemented, and carried out quickly and efficiently.
             a. A key component to the Iraqi reconstruction is for President Bush to get reelected. A change in leadership at this point in the effort would be detrimental.
             b. The Bush administration has the plan they just need a couple of variables to fall into place.
             1. The U.S. along with coalition forces need to neutralize random acts of violence against our troops and instill some kind of trust in us occupying there country for the time being.
             a. Since Saddam has been captured there should be a growing trust and moral in both the citizens and troops, which should make this slow process, move a lot faster.
             b. Now that Saddam is captured he might provide us with information that will lead to weapons of mass destruction and possibly more information on terrorism groups. This will be a key confidence boost to the world, and would make the war more justified.
             c. Just because we are not currently carrying out full-scale bombing, and special operations missions, Baghdad is still a war zone.
             2. Politics need to be thrown aside and have all democrats, republicans, and UN personnel work together instead of bickering over construction deals and oil. There are still 140,000 military personal getting shot at and the citizens are living in poverty.
             - Many troops have died since the war was announced over. And we do not know really who is friend or foe. This is putting are soldiers in a environment that is unpredictable.
