Homosexuality: The Choice No One Made

 

             Throughout history, society's biggest threat has always been it's desire to weed out those it deems to be immoral. To find those are different and persecute them for their way of life, and their desire to be treated fairly and with equal rights. At the forefront of the battle against equality, homosexuals have become a major target for those who live under the eyes of God. .
             In the Bible, the books by which all faithful Christians live by, it states that to lie with another of the same sex is a sin. But who cares about a book that has no real facts and no evidence to support it's meaning? Unfortunately, the majority of people living in the United States do. Which seems to be the reason behind so much hate and oppression that many homosexuals face in the world today. The major arguement that seems to be in play at the moment is that people are capable of choosing to be gay. That, simply put, is completely ridiculous. Who in their right mind would ever choose to be beaten and abused just because they love? .
             Recently, the issue of gay marriage has become and important topic within the news. While many countries around the world are open and willing to accept, it seems that, yet again, the United States is still holding on to their stupidity. Anyone who is against homosexuality is entitled to their opinion, but they're wrong. Plain and simple. .
