This could well be since the lessons that could be learned from the story of Harry Potter are applicable to people of all ages. Right now, because of its wide readership all over the world, Harry Potter's story, the boy wizard, is said to be "one of the beloved figures in literary history" (Cagle 60).
The story of the book is mainly about Harry Potter and how his magical story unfolds. The story begins when a baby boy, named Harry Potter, was delivered in front of Dursley's house late at night by a huge man riding on a flying motorcycle. Harry had a scar on his forehead which he got when Voldermort killed his parents. When Voldermort tried to kill Harry something happed and Voldermort was the one who was affected by the spell causing him to be severely weakened. For eleven years, he stayed with the Dursley's who treated him miserably. Until one day, he received a letter inviting him to come to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This was when Harry's adventures begun. There he encountered lots of things he never knew he would see, like magic, witches, potions, magical creatures and Quidditch, the most popular sports of wizards and witches. It was also in Hogwarts that he met his two new friends, Ron and Hermione. Eventually, they were the ones who helped him when they tried to stop Professor Quirrell to get hold of the sorcerer's stone so that Voldemort will be able to recover and have his revenge. Like any other adventure story, the plot evolved around on the struggle between good and evil. The villain, Voldemort, with all his evil schemes did everything in his power to exact his revenge from Harry.
The harsh realities of life was experienced by Harry when he was made to believe by his relatives, the Dursleys, that his parents were killed in a car accident. He later learned from Hagrid that they were murdered by the evil wizard, Voldemort. For a child his age, one can emphatize how devastated he must have felt.
