City or Country?

Have you ever been to the country? It's great isn't it? You get to camp, go fishing, and even take a hike up Mount Everest. Keep dreaming! That's only how you see it when you"re on your summer vacation but imagine if you had to live there for the whole year or even worse, for the rest of your life. It would be like living in hell especially if you already had a taste of the city. Living in the city is much better than living in the country because there is no farm work, you get access to more services, and most importantly the city is much more exciting than the country.
First, working in the country and working in the city are not the same. In the country you mostly work outside on your farm. You need to take care of all those animals and crops, but in the city it is much different. There is no need to think about how your pigs or cows are doing or if bugs are eating your tomato's; here you usually sit in front of a computer and pretend your doing work when your actually playing solitaire. This is the city life. You take everything as it comes and go with the flow. There is no need to put yourself into stress thinking about harvesting the crops on time or getting fire wood ready before it snows. .
Second, in the country you"re pretty much on your own. Remember when you wanted to buy new clothes or get a hair cut, but you had to ride your bike 20 miles to get to the nearest shopping center. If you have been living in the country for a long time, you"re probably used to suffering like this and by now you must have some ripped quadriceps but what if you just moved into the country? You turn on your television and find out they have no cable, you go to the kitchen to get a drink and realize the water comes from a well underneath your house, or you go to the washroom and it's full because it isn't connected to any sewers and the only thing there is a two meter deep hole. All this is different in the city, in other words it is more relaxing because you don't have to think about all these problems.
