Profile of New F-150

The F-150 truck has been Ford's best selling vehicle for over twenty years. It's successor will be the New 2004 F-150. The new features include being able to tow up to 9,500 pounds and hauls up to 3,000 pounds more than any other truck in it's class. It's boxes are twenty percent bigger for more cargo space compared to older F-150's. There are six additional inches in the regular cab and super cab, plus sixteen more inches behind the seats for storage in the regular cab. Also, there is a over head rail storage which can hold a DVD entertainment system. The F-150 comes standard with four doors on every cab where as previous ones they were an option. With double-sealed doors, thickened window panes and sound absorbing dash panels this all helps keep the interior quiet while going through construction or any other noisy area. .
This newer version has twice as much power as older ones. A standard 4.6 L V8 and an optional 5.4 L 3-valve V8 generates fifteen percent more power and five percent more torque than the previous models. Fords tailgate assistant helps reduce opening and closing efforts of tailgate. The feature uses a torsion bar that twist with the tailgate absorbing about half the weight. It's frame is an all new hydro formed, fully boxed ladder type-frame, large mounting brackets and the strongest in it's class, resulting in the strongest frame ever built: The Ford F-150 delivers superior handling, control and responsiveness you can feel. A second row of power windows are also offered in the super cab model. With all these new features, many of which I have not enclosed critics are saying this it the best F-150 and the best all around truck in it's class.
