Despite the situation, having an abortion is morally and spiritually except if one's life is at risk for example, medical problems that can be life threatening due to a pregnancy. Women need to think about the consequences that can occur before having sexual relations and by extension unprotected sex. The effects of this can be sad for both the woman and her family. There are many reasons why women should not have an abortion. Some important reasons have to do with Human values, Religious values and values of conscience. .
Firstly, human values are a critical aspect to the refusal of engaging in the acceptance of abortion. A woman's conscience should lead her to think about her unborn baby who is not responsible for being conceived, but she should take the responsibility for her own action. As long as conception has taken place the unborn baby should be given the privilege to live and grow into a person to be a part of the human race as should be and not destroyed before to satisfy or justify the perpetrators selfishness except there is detriment to the life of the pregnant person. Women need to be more humanitarian and less boastful with these babies. On the other hand, the baby does not know how or why he or she is here, therefore it is not necessary to kill a life. There are many other solutions to resolve this problem.
Secondly, religious values dictate that having an abortion is considered a sin. In almost all religions, a woman is not permitted to have an abortion, if they do, and it became known they will have to face the consequence of their action based on that religion's belief. In some religions, for example, a woman may be dis-fellowship if it became known that she had an abortion. However since there is repentance and grace, should she show sincere remorse and repent with the intention of not committing the act again, it will therefore enable her to return to fellowship because she will then receive forgiveness both from God and the brethren.
