My Graduation Day

Have you ever felt through out life people go through so many hardships? Either it's good or bad there's always an outcome of the situation. It can be one of the most exciting events ever but yet scariest event would be the day you graduate. For me, graduation was the biggest goal in high school, and it takes a lot of time and effort to achieve that goal. Little do people know, it opens up so many opportunities for people to succeed. Graduation is the end of high school and the beginning of a new chapter. May 23, 2014, woke up on an early beautiful May morning with the sun coming through my tan colored blinds. I dragged my short body right out of my warm bed and walked towards my bathroom to do the normal routine: brush my teeth, wash my face, shower, get dressed, and the other regulars! As I looked at my gorgeous self while combing my hair, it hit me so hard, as if someone punched me dead in the face that I'm graduating today. I couldn't help but put a big ole smile on my face, but I did get the feeling as if I was going to drift away from my family. Just before the moment accord, a tear comes falling slowly down my pretty face.
"Krystal?" my mom yells out my name.
             "Yes, Mommy" I said,.
             "No Answer".
             I repeat, "Yes, Mommy".
"Come on down, breakfast is served", she finally answers.
After I got dressed and ready for this outstanding day of mine, I made my way to the kitchen to eat the fabulous cooking I smelled. There were; pancakes, sausage, bacon, toast, and orange juice all gathered on the table and it just smelled so delicious! As I was sitting in my favorite seat at the table, eating my breakfast, my mom asks me, "How is your morning going so far sweetie?" I respond, "Delightful! It's really hitting me this morning that I'm graduating today mommy." She says, "I know baby, but I'm so proud of you!" I proudly say, "Thank you so much mommy, I couldn't of did it without you.
