Feelings

It's like love, warmth, and happiness all wrapped up into one feeling. When she stepped into my world over nine and a half months ago, I never thought it would be like this, that this one girl would change my life forever. I still remember the first time I saw her, at the school dance, I didn't think anything of it at the time, how was I suppose to know that I was going to meet the girl of my dreams.
I remember arriving at the dance with some friends, looking to have a good time. As we looked over the dance floor, we noticed that our usual groups of friends weren't there, so we made a quick loop around the floor and found some other friends to dance with. As the night went on, I noticed that one girl had been following me around, but I wasn't sure. So every once in a while I would move around the group, and sure enough, she followed. I didn't know her name, or what grade she was in, in fact, I didn't know anything about her, all I knew was two things: First of all, she was hot, and second, she liked me.
We stared dating a short time after, and for a short while, whenever I would see her, it was like I was seeing a good friend, I was looking forward to it, but if I didn't see her, it wasn't that big of a deal. Then things started changing. I started having feelings that I never had before. I couldn't wait to see her next. I would be sitting in math, looking at the clock, watching time move ever so slowly. Just knowing that I would get to see her right after class made time move that much slower. That confused me. I had never had any feelings like this and it took me a while to realize what they were. Love.
As time progressed the feeling only got stronger. Since it was summer, we started hanging out more, spending more time together, and getting to know each other better. The feeling only grew. Then there was the 4th of July. After dinner with her family, we headed up Birch Mountain to get a good view of the fireworks.
