Deciding your career is a difficult and suspenseful task too most college students. Many of today's teachers did not wake up one day and decide that it was their destiny to teach children in a school environment. A huge number of the teachers fell into their career because they wanted to give back to the community or for the love of children. When one figures out, they want to commit themselves to teaching they must then decide on their own teaching philosophy.
A school's purpose is to be a safe institution for children to be comfortable in. A school must demonstrate to their pupils that trust, friendship, morals, values, and respect are among the many attributes associated with a school and its teachers and staff. Every child knows that when they enter a school they are there to learn. This is the major function of any school. But without those attributes listed above, the school will not achieve their goal of educating their students.
All students want to learn and achieve to their highest expectations. They need the support of the school, their teacher and their parents to help them achieve what they strive for. Children are not afraid of knowledge. They want teachers they can trust and respect to give them the right information and show them how to use their gained knowledge in the real world.
Obtaining respect from your pupils is a hard and daunting task. With giving the students what they desire is a step in the process of earning that respect. We must strive to educate our students and give them the knowledge and know how to make it in the real world.
