JFK

Working hard and believing in your own abilities to accomplish what you want is what my hero believed. John F. Kennedy is my hero who believed in hard work and the importance of public appearances. .
Kennedy believed that if your work hard you will accomplish what you want. When running for office, he campaigned for fourteen hours a day. He was one of the many candidates who worked the hardest to get elected. For example, everywhere Kennedy went he shook as many hands with the people who supported him. When he found out about forty million people who were old enough to vote but were not registered, he tried to obtain twenty-five percent of the unregistered voters to vote for him. He and his advisors worked hard to gain votes in the nine states which included Massachusetts, Texas, Illinois, Ohio, New Jersey, Michigan, California, New York, and Pennsylvania. .
Kennedy believes in the importance of public appearances. He was a tall and good-looking person, and he always dressed well for the public. Because he was young, people would not believe in him, and thought of him as an inexperienced politician. He used a professional public relations firm in New York to help him to change his image. He also answered the questions directly of being too young and a Catholic. When he spoke with the public, he emphasized his points with an outstretched arm and a pointed finger. Kennedy had used the television to get his view to the public. Through television he showed the public his great charisma.
In my opinion John F. Kennedy is a person who had charm, Who worked hard and believed in him self. Through my experiences I have learned from my hero that working hard can help me achieve many of my goals.
