Terrorism in America

We all have seen more terrorism in the past year than we have probably ever seen in our whole life but its just going to get worse as time goes on. September 11, 2001 is an unforgettable date that will live through eternity. No one will ever forget that day. It was a day of horrifying events. September 11 is when terrorists hijacked an airplane and flew the airplane into the two twin towers. That was a terrorist attack that effected every person in our country. We have seen a lot of people working together to try to prevent terrorism happening again but we need to work harder and not ever forget what happened over a year ago. We all need to continue protecting America from terrorism.
Everyone in this country needs to work together to stop terrorism by giving money to charities. Charities will give money towards big events that could be attacked by terrorists. The money will go towards hiring new people to work as security. They can also get more security devices to help protect the people that are at this event. (Borenstein, page 1). This will reduce any more terrorism that could happen in the future. It will reassure people that they are safe. This way people won't be afraid to fly on an airplane anymore or go to a major event because they will know that they are being secured good.
We all need to work together to stop innocent lives being taken by anthrax. Anthrax is a disease that has been spread by terrorists through the mail. Investigators say that they believe that anthrax was spread even more because of people sorting the mail. (SeaBrook, page 2). Anthrax is a serious disease and if we don't work together to stop it many people are going to die. The government is developing a new mail system so anthrax doesn't spread even more than it already has. We need to support this decision because it might not only prevent someone you know from getting it but it also could prevent you from getting the disease.
