This video which had two films edited into one opened with a man on a train in New York signing a spiritual as the memorials of the tragedy flashed throughout the screen. There were pictures of the victims with their families, candle light vigils, and word walls flashing on the screen; this was very, very touching. In this video there were also children, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters there just asking themselves why a tragedy like this had to happen. There were also many mixed emotions among the crowd. I saw laughing, crying, anger, happiness, but one thing definitely was common among every individual present that innocent people were killed. .
As the tape moved on it went to a Yemen woman speaking, and as she spoke she was letting all the people in New York know about the discrimination and racism against her people since the recent acts of terrorism. She told the people how two men were shot in a store because they were Muslim. She also told the large crowd how a variety of peoples cars were broken into in Stanton Island because there were Arabic writings on the inside of the car. This young lady was basically letting everyone who would listen know that the Taliban is not all Muslims, and all Muslims do not agree with what happened. .
As the video continued on it was so disheartening to hear everyday people beginning to realize that life is not going to get any better because we are in a war. These people also pointed out that more like September 11th are still coming because there are still people with the same mind frame as Bin Laden still out there, who will do the terrorist acts again. As more New Yorkers were filmed they told the camera's that the horrible smell of decaying bodies fill the air as they walk by. They also point out that the pictures of the missing are putting the tragedy into full perspective for them. .
As the video continued on the interviewee's of the video pointed out an excellent point that United States has a horrible roll in the war.
