             Miguel Hidalgo. Together, Miguel Hidalgo and Ignacio Allende formed a "literary club." .
             The club wasn't necessary about literacy. Each time the group met the group talked .
             more and more about devising plans and ways on how to over throw Spanish rule. The .
             members of the club also included Miguel Dominguez and his wife, Dona Josefa Ortiz .
             De Dominguez, Epigmenio Gonzalez, and Marina Gawan. Soon after Miguel Hidalgos .
             death Iturbide took over. .
             After the war of independence a new government was formed. At first since there .
             wasn't a monarch established, a junta was created to run things in the mean time. The .
             provisional junta consisted of five men, whose duties were to exercise executive .
             functions until an emperor of Mexico was appointed. Soon after, Iturbide was appointed .
             Emperor of Mexico. As emperor of Mexico his job was to defend the Catholic religion. .
             The government became that of a monarchy. .
             A new Republic of Mexico came about after monarchy failed. Monarchy in .
             Mexico failed because it was no different from when Spain Ruled Mexico. In 1824 a .
             "three man junta" governed Mexico provisionally. The three members were Nicolas .
             Bravo, Guadalupe Victoria and Pedro Celestino Negrete. In the year 1824 the .
             constitution of the Estados Unidos Mexicanos became a federalist republic. The republic .
             consisted of nineteen states and four territories. The constitution was similar to that of .
             the United States. There was a separation of powers, which had the three executive .
