Abortion clinics are often violently targeted by anti-abortion protesters. Some of the protesters that perform these repulsive acts have been affected in some way or another by this issue and feel like they have the right to protest aggressively. Violent anti-abortionists have gotten to the extreme where the verbally and physically abuse physician performing these abortions. Abortion doctors have been yelled such things as "baby killers" and "murderers" in public places and even on their own private properties. Some even refer to the process of abortion as "cutting up the baby into pieces, poisoning the baby, causing him to convulse or die, or the delivery of a dead baby." (Horvitz 213). Consequently, physician's families are also endangered by violent physical acts. Abortion clinics and their workers are also affected in this bloody battle. Perhaps the scariest thought for these abortion doctors is that there are serial killers that actually think that by killing them may save the lives of unborn babies. .
