Professional Ethics: What Is It?

To begin Professional Ethics are certain obligations and responsibilities used to carry out a specific job. Ethics apply to every profession as noted in my article. Ethics are they way you are supposed to go about you profession. Professional ethics apply to every profession known to man. .
My article was about the Ethics in coaching. It said that, "In becoming a member of the teaching/coaching profession, a person assumes certain obligations and responsibilities to the game, to student-athletes and to fellow teachers/coaches." It also said "members should conduct themselves in such a manner as to maintain the dignity and decency of their profession." Basically it is the way you do your job and the way you act while doing your job. .
Professional ethics are incorporated in many different areas as a teacher/coach. The teacher/ coach as an educator, the teacher/coach and eligibility requirements, the teacher/coach and scholarships, and the teacher/coach and public relations are the areas ethics are involved. For example, the function of a teacher/coach as an educator is to educate students through the participation in the interscholastic sports program. .
I think that ethics are supposed to be involved in every profession. I think also that a professional of any kind has some kind of obligation to his/her profession. If they didn't they wouldn't be classified as a professional.
