Global Warming

Another element that supports the global warming theory is the evidence of the Ozone hole. Ozone, the unstable element that protects life on earth can easily be disrupted by what humans put into the air. If it is possible that humans play a major role in protecting the ozone, it could be possible that we have a direct affect on global warming as well. The scientists involved in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or IPCC seem to believe humans play a role in the progression of global warming with some 2,500 voices backing their opinion. A survey put in circulation by Ozone Action received over 2,600 signatures in support of this topic as well. Opposing people would point out that many of these signatures were not of fitting stature for the basis of the survey, (Rothbard and Rucker, Citizen Outlook 1997) but when looking at the reality of surveys that are sent out in to the public, the reply rate themselves are not ver high or well received. The signatures at the very least stress the fact that serious thought needs to be taken towards the global warming controversy.
The cards are definitely stacked against all who agree with the theory of global warming. Taking a look at the area and practice of climatology suggests that the ideas and predictions of global warming are inaccurate. When listening to the weatherman's forecast for the week, we can all see that predicting the weather is no easy task. If the weekly forecast if often misinterpreted, how is it that we are to believe the predictions from scientists of years to come. Nature has proven itself time and again that it has no boundaries and cannot be contained. Most of what theorists have to go on are abstract ideas and data, very little is concrete. Though is it proven that the earth is heating up, it is not as if this is totally irregular. It is estimated that when the world was ruled by dinosaurs, the average temperature was almost 15 degrees F hotter that is today.
