Star Wars

Jedi Under Siege, is the last book in a six book series, which is a spin off from the Star Wars, trilogy movies. In this story, the warrior, hero from the original series (Luke Skywalker) established his own Jedi Academy. His buddies, Han Solo and Princess Leia (Mrs. Solo) had twins. The twins (Jaina and Jacen) became Skywalker's pupils and learned the mysterious ways of the force and how to use it for good. They later play a major role in saving the Jedi Academy.
             .
The evil forces are in space planning an attack. It is believed that the deceased, evil leader, of the Imperial Empire (Emperor Pulpitine), has been resurrected and formed the Second Imperium. He has recruited help from the Dark Jedi, Zekk (former friend of the twins), his master Brakiss, and the loathsome, Nightsister Tamith Kai. Brakiss, a former student of Skywalker has now turned to the dark side and established The Shadow Academy.
             .
The Second Imperium sent out all of there fleet to attack the Jedi Academy. It looked like the end. Brakiss tried to convince Skywalker to surrender. Luke refused, they fought and Luke remained supreme. In a rage, Brakiss retreated to his ship. The climax occurred when Brakiss returned to his ship and found out that Emperor Pulpitine had not really been resurrected. It had been a hoax, invented by four of his servants. .
With the help of the Solo Twins, the Jedi retaliated and became victorious. In the end, Brakiss killed himself, Tacit Kai was killed, and Zekk, left the dark side to be with his friends. They would live happily until the next book in the series, that is!.
In my opinion this was a great, action packed book. I would highly recommend it to others, especially if they like space adventures. It was well written, for it to be a spin off of the main Star Wars series. It was clever the way they stuck closely to the original series form and characters, as much as possible, while still adding a little extra.
